Knowledge fades, but your degree stays - as this funny saying also suggests, the role of education is being revaluated in our ever changing world. In the past few decades it has become clear: if you think that with one (or even two) degrees in your drawer you can say goodbye to schools and learning, you just fool yourself. However, if you want to meet the actual requirements of the labour market and live up to your own expectations, you continuously need some kind of education. It may be only a short course in some cases, but often you need to go back to school again, attend lessons and pass exams. It should not be difficult if you find an institution which helps you obtain the knowledge your previous Hungarian secondary schools may have failed to provide you with, and gives you knowledge which can be a guarantee for your success in your chosen career path. As some say, the time of the Renaissance man with a wide range of knowledge is over - sadly enough. However, if you have expertise only in one subject but have no idea of the other fields around you, you are not likely to be successful either, no matter how profound your expertise may be. Moreover, if you have the necessary knowledge, you will find it easier to choose your next educational path. Also, you will be quicker to realize when it is time to learn something new in order to advance in your career, or maybe just simply keep your job.
It seems that Zsigmond Király Főiskola has found the optimal solution to both problems.
There are hardly any ZSKF graduates who would still be looking for a job three months after graduation, but there are many who come back to the Alma Mater after a few years, saying they want to get their postgraduate diploma in the same school. They must know the reason why...
